THE LATEST REQUESTS:
As of 2007-07-04 We want to wish everyone a happy Fourth of July - for those of us who live in America, we are so blessed to live in a free country, where we can worship and praise the Lord! Let’s remember those who are not free from the oppression of Satan and pray for them. • Pray for the current Love Covers outreach. Pray that the Lord will do an amazing work and that these kids will be touched deeply. • Pray that the distribution of clothes will be orderly and go on without incident. • Pray for James Olal who had go back to Sudan to be with Hellen, who is very ill. Pray God will heal her and give the doctors wisdom in how to treat her. • Pray for our land in Pageri, one of the tribesmen is trying to say the land is his and is trying to take it back. Pray for this village; the people have requested a church plant, and the enemy is doing all he can to stop it. Pray for God’s amazing intervention. • Pray for the bead order to be sent out! We are waiting for correct samples for uniforms we have ordered for our chaplains. This delay is holding up the shipment of the beads, and our ladies are completely out. We will have to stop work if we can’t get supplies to them. • Pray for Shirley to come to the Lord. • Pray for Alison, as she is doing summer school in Africa. Pray that God will give her understanding of the material and that she won’t be overwhelmed. • Pray that God will meet Alison and Haley deeply while they are over in Africa. • Pray for the building on Date Street; the buyer backed out of the sale. We now need to find a new buyer. Pray God will bring one quickly. • Pray for the build-out on our new building. Pray that we will be able to get what we need from the city in a timely fashion. • Pray for Twinkle as she comes back to the United States to get her citizenship. Pray God would give her favor and that everything would be accomplished on this trip. • Pray for Papa Joe. The medication he needs is hard for him to take, but he needs to be on it to keep his organs from failing. • Pray for all the missionaries out in the field. Pray that the Lord will use them mightily, that they will not grow weary in the work, and that the Lord will meet them where they are. ------------------------------------------------------------ Praise Reports: Praise the Lord for these answers to your prayers: - The CCAA opened the Kitgum airstrip for our team! They denied two other organizations to fly in, but when they heard about our clothing outreach, they decided to allow two planes to fly in and bring the team. They will also pick the team up from Kitgum when the outreach is over. God has truly answered all of our prayers! Thank you for praying! | Night Commuters Pray for the children of Northern Uganda. Pray they find safe refuge from the LRA. As well, please pray that the LRA and their tactics of terror would soon come to an end. Pray they would feel safe from attack. Pray they would have a good place to sleep. Pray they would be clothed and fed. Pray their parents would be safe from LRA attacks. Pray they would teach their children the ways of God. Missionaries Currently our missionaries are in very difficult and sometimes dangerous areas. Pray that they would be used powerfully to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. Pray they would have boldness to share in the midst of trying circumstances. Pray their families would be safe and supportative of the work. Pray for the protection and safety of all our staff. Chaplains The chaplains of Sudan are special men of South Sudan in need of prayer to be used as God would allow. Pray they would stand fast in their faith and boldly proclaim the truths of Christ to weary and hurting soldiers in the SPLA. Staff Please continually intercede for all of the staff in the US office and out in the field: - for protection and wisdom in the midst of spiritual warfare - that we would be faithful workers - that we will know how to walk and work together as fellow believers in the body of Christ - that kindeness, joy and fellowship would be our hallmark. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ .
